THREE PRESIDENTS, ONE SHARED PASSION FOR PHOTOGRAPHY!
Anhui, China – October 30, 2026
It was truly an honor and a memorable experience for me to attend the “Three Presidents Dialogue” in Anhui, China, bringing together the Presidents of three of the world’s leading photographic organizations:
FIAP – Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique, represented by its President.
PSA – Photographic Society of America, represented by President John Andrew Hughes.
RPS – Royal Photographic Society, represented by President Simon Ian Hill.
As an Egyptian photographer, I was proud to be part of this remarkable international gathering, which went beyond official titles and organizational responsibilities.
It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the visions and experiences of these prestigious organizations, exchange perspectives on the future of photography, and discover the personal artistic journeys of the three Presidents through their photographs, stories, and memories.
What made this dialogue particularly special was seeing how photography brings people together across borders, cultures, and different backgrounds, united by one shared passion.
My sincere appreciation and gratitude to the organizers for making this inspiring meeting possible and for creating such a valuable opportunity for international photographic exchange.
Photography is more than an art… it is a universal language that brings us together.

(John Andrew Hughes).
(Simon Ian Hill).
