في الإطار الفلسفي للحركة الرافدينية المعاصرة، يُنظر إلى إعادة إحياء الرمز الرافديني بوصفها عملية تأصيلية لا تقوم على استحضار طقوسي شكلي، ولا على إنتاج تمثيلات رمزية حديثة منفصلة عن جذورها الأصلية. إذ ترتكز هذه العملية حصراً على استعادة المنظومات الرمزية والفنية والفكرية المنبثقة من الحضارة السومرية، بما تتضمنه من أساطير وطقوس وبُنى معتقدية. وعليه، فإن الخطاب الفلسفي لهذه الحركة يستبعد إدماج المصطلحات أو الأطر المفاهيمية الحديثة، حفاظاً على نقاء المرجعية الحضارية واستمرارية دلالاتها الأصيلة ضمن سياقها التاريخي والأنطولوجي.
Within the philosophical framework of the Contemporary Mesopotamian Movement, the revival of Mesopotamian symbolism is understood as a foundational process that does not rely on superficial ritualistic revival or the creation of modern symbolic representations detached from their original roots. Rather, it is strictly grounded in the restoration of symbolic, artistic, and intellectual systems derived from Sumerian civilization, including its myths, rituals, and belief structures. Accordingly, the philosophical discourse of this movement excludes the incorporation of modern terminology or conceptual frameworks, in order to preserve the purity of its civilizational reference and the continuity of its original meanings within their historical and ontological context.
